Hello, Strand fans! To be honest, I found the subject a bit subtle, but maybe that's just an excuse for the fact that I had to use two clues before I figured it out!
From these two clues, I could see that there is a COMIC near the top right and a DROLL at the top left.
Okay, so this is about the various ways to compliment someone's funny comment? Well, maybe so, but LAUGHABLE is more condescending than complimentary...
In any case, these tips put me on the right path. Next I found AMUSING in the lower right corner, followed by WITTY above it. This left enough space for me to get a THATSFUNNY spangram.
We also separated the remaining two answers into separate segments. Next, I found the aforementioned LAUGHABLE on the left side, leaving the SUOTORI anagram to be deciphered. It was, of course, “RIOTOUS.”
