Top 5 New Shows Available This Week on Netflix, Prime Video and More (Nov. 25-Dec. 1)

Grab some turkey and mashed potatoes and enjoy new shows premiering on Netflix, Paramount Plus, other streaming services, and broadcast and cable TV channels. [They are “The Agency,” a spy story starring Michael Fassbender, and “The Madness,” a political drama starring Colman Domingo. For real-life romance, check out “The Later Daters,” about seniors looking for love. Here are the top new shows to check out this week.

The show that makes my stomach growl is back with its seventh installment featuring culinary gurus from around the world who are redefining today's food landscape. This season's lineup includes Southern Thai cuisine from Philadelphia's Nok Sungtharanon, Afro-Caribbean cuisine from New York's Kwame Onwuachi, who gained attention on “Top Chef,” seafood from Spain's Angel León, Mexico City's Norma Listman and Saqib Kebal of Mexico City, and Mexican and South Asian fusion cuisine by husband-and-wife chefs Norma Ristman and Saqib Kebal. [This conspiracy thriller stars Colman Domingo as media critic Muncy Daniels. There, Muncy encounters the murder of a well-known white supremacist. Forced to flee to clear his name, he reunites with his estranged family and finds unlikely allies to fight disinformation in the post-truth world.

All eight episodes premiere on Netflix on Thursday, November 28 at 3 a.m. ET

Thanksgiving is all about tradition, and part of that is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year's parade will feature seven giant helium balloons, 15 heritage and novelty balloons, 27 floats, over 700 clowns, 11 marching bands, and the one and only Santa Claus. Performances by Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue, and Billy Porter will be featured, as well as Cynthia Erivo of “Wicked” and WNBA champion New York Liberty. There will also be new balloons featuring Minnie Mouse, Elf on the Shelf, Spider-Man, and more. [Michael Fassbender, Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Richard Gere are among the top-notch cast in Showtime's new spy thriller, in which CIA secret agent Martian (Fassbender) is ordered to abandon the undercover life he has built up over the years and return to the London office. He is ordered to leave the undercover life he has built up over the years and return to the London station. Their romance is rekindled when the lover he left behind reappears. Soon he and his lover are caught up in a deadly game of international intrigue.

She encourages singles to set realistic dating goals and expectations, while at the same time enjoying the unexpected moments of joy that accompany new encounters.
