If you get spangram first like I did, today should be easy.
I saw the word “sound” spelled left to right and started experimenting with how it would end up. Of course, it was SOUNDEFFECTS, and I prepared a puzzle that would not cause too many problems.
Starting with the two 'Z's, I found SIZZLE just above the spangram on the right side of the board and BANG on the bottom right. Then I found a 'BANG' in the lower right corner. In the upper right corner was a 'CRASH', leaving a 'CRUNCH' to complete the upper half of the board.
The bottom section could be filled in just as easily. There was a JINGLE below the left spangram and a HONK to the right of it. All that was left was KAPOW, and I was able to finish the puzzle in rather good time.
