After reviewing this week's popular shows, we've narrowed it down to three standouts from Hulu's current top 10 shows, including some familiar names like 9-1-1: Lone Star, which is new to the streaming service and rising fast. It's a new comedy that is getting great reviews from critics.

If you read our Hulu Top 15 breakdown regularly, you've probably seen “9-1-1: Lone Star” pop up, which is no surprise given that the “9-1-1” spin-off series is also quite popular, as is the Ryan Murphy-produced original show But it's always been a big hit on this platform.
Like “9-1-1,” the show focuses on the lives of paramedics. However, “9-1-1: Lone Star” moves the setting to Austin, Texas, and focuses on a new character: fire captain Rob Lowe, who came to Texas after rebuilding the New York City team he lost on September 11, 2001, to lead this ensemble cast call sheet. He is leading the team. Currently in its fifth and final season, episode 8 was just released this week on Hulu.

“Interior Chinatown” stars Jimmy O. Yang (“Silicon Valley”) as Willis Wu. Willis is a character actor stuck in a supporting role in a police drama. One day, he accidentally witnesses a crime and shockingly finds himself in the spotlight. But as the investigation unfolds, Willis finds himself caught up in a family secret and the intrigues of a Chinatown crime syndicate.
Produced by Taika Waititi, reviews for the show (now available in its entirety) have been generally positive, although some say it sometimes misses the mark. Based on the novel of the same name by Charles Yoo and created and written by Yoo himself, the show features a number of underrated actors and is well worth a look.

“Murder in a Small Town” follows Detective Carl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland). Alberg used to be a detective in Minneapolis, but chose to move to a quiet coastal town in the Pacific Northwest. After years of being tormented by big city police work, he hopes that a change of location will save him, but the small town also has big secrets.
This Canadian crime drama is based on L.R. Wright's award-winning “The Mysteries of Alburgh and Cassandra” series. In addition to Sutherland as Alberg, the film also stars Kristin Kreuk as Cassandra Lee, a librarian who becomes the love interest of a world-famous detective.
