Moses “Shine” Barrow was a rising star of the New York hip-hop scene. A protégé of the now infamous Sean Combs, his career was cut short when he was arrested for a nightclub shooting, received a somewhat questionable conviction, and ultimately served nine years of a 10-year prison sentence before being deported to his native Belize in 2009.
After his deportation, Schein continued to make music. However, he also began a transformation that included a formal conversion to Orthodox Judaism, which he began while in prison. This personal conversion continues today, with Schein now an elected member of the Belize House of Representatives, a powerful role in the House, leader of the opposition. To examine Shine Barrow's rise, fall and remarkable rise again, see “The Honorable Shine.”

“Drugstore June” stars Esther Povitsky of “Dollface” fame as June, a small-town influencer trying (but failing) to become an influencer. When the pharmacy where she works is robbed, she decides to solve the crime herself. Will she be able to focus on the job at hand? Or will she be too focused on getting over her parents, who are trying to get her to move out, and her ex-boyfriend?
After watching the trailer, I think the mixed reviews the film is receiving are probably accurate. However, “Drugstore June” is packed with comedic talent, including Bobby Lee and Bill Burr. So if you want to see a fun, dumb movie, you could do a lot worse.

If you're looking for a fun new movie, “Thelma. June Squibb stars in this comedy-drama as Thelma, a nice grandmother who one day gets swindled out of $10,000 by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson Danny (Fred Hettinger).
But that doesn't stop Thelma. The family panics and the police refuse to help, but this grandma is still determined to do it. Sure, she is 93 years old and most of her friends are dead or gone. But she still has Ben. They have a scooter, a friend Thelma has largely ignored since the death of her late husband. Don't miss the adventures of “Thelma” and one grandmother trying to get her money back.
