Not seeing Spotify Wrapped 2024? - Here's how to find or fix it

Spotify Wrapped 2024 is starting to roll out to our devices (see the Spotify Wrapped 2024 live blog for the latest info), but it is not without its problems.

If you can't find Wrapped 2024, there are some fixes that may help you determine how much time you spent listening to Spotify.

In 2023, we saw that some people had problems accessing their year-end lists in the desktop app, but we don't see anything similar in this year's Wrapped.

It should be noted that if you use Spotify infrequently, you may not receive Wrapped roundups. You must have listened to at least 30 songs by at least 5 different artists for at least 30 seconds each. This will not be a problem for most people, but if these requirements are not met, Wrapped will not appear.

In some parts of the world, Wrapped may not be available due to privacy laws.

If none of these apply and you still cannot find the feature, try the following workaround.

Last year you could not get a roundup if your app was not the latest version.

Make sure your app is the latest version before doing anything else.

To check, go to the App Store for iOS or the Play Store for Android and make sure your app is updated: version 8.8.96.476 for Android or version 8.8.94 for iOS is Required.

Alternatively, if you are using a computer, you can try the desktop app. Make sure that this is also the latest version.

If you still do not see the feature after updating, do a total reset, uninstall the app, and re-download it; you will not lose any music and playlists associated with your Spotify account. You may then see the functionality.

This only works for mobile browsers, but you can access the Spotify web player at Spotify.com/us/Wrapped, log into your account and view Wrapped. If the app is not working, this should give you a roundup.

However, you will be limited to slideshows only.

I tried accessing Wrapped from a computer with the browser version, but it only pushes me to the app when I log in. Again, this is only possible with the mobile version.

This suggestion comes from our sister site Tech Radar.

This method uses Spotify's search bar.

Then type “spotify:datastories:wrapped” or “2024 Wrapped” and press search.

Using the datastories search, I went straight to the Wrapped roundup; the second search shows other results, but may lead to a slideshow.

If you are interested in weird AI podcasts, you can find them by searching “Your Spotify Wrapped AI podcast.”

In previous years, Spotify Wrapped lasted until mid-January. If you try to search after that time, you will be directed to a playlist of the most played songs of the year.

If you are interested in the AI podcasts in the Wrapped roundup, expect that window to be smaller.

Looking for an older Wrapped playlist? Try a search like “Wrapped 2022” or “spotify:genre:2022” depending on the year you are looking for; Wrapped has been around since 2016, so your search can go back that far.
