'Tis the season to relax on the couch and catch up on what's new on the best streaming services. If you're looking for something new to watch on Amazon Prime Video this weekend, the streaming service's Top 10 Most Watched Movies has some great titles.

But just because a movie makes the top 10 doesn't mean it's guaranteed to be a hit. So we did an in-depth study of the top 10 (as of December 21) to narrow down which ones deserve the hype. Among them are Christmas classics, crime dramas, and a new action-comedy that has divided the pros and cons.

Here are my picks for the top 10 most-watched movies on Prime Video.

Audiences and critics are split down the middle on whether “Red One” will be the next Christmas classic. You can see for yourself which camp is right. In this holiday action comedy, Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons) is kidnapped and the fate of Christmas is at stake. The head of security at the North Pole (Dwayne Johnson) must team up with hacker and eternal naughty list Jack O'Malley (Chris Evans) to retrieve the big man in red and save Christmas. Other cast members include Lucy Liu, Bonnie Hunt, Kiernan Shipka, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Nick Kroll.

Loosely inspired by the exploits of a real-life outlaw motorcycle club, “Biker Riders” is a Hollywood star-studded, oil-painted It is a snapshot. Starring Tom Hardy as Johnny David, a tough biker who founded the Chicago-based Vandals Motorcycle Club. The film begins with a meeting between Kathy (Jodie Comer) and Vandals heartthrob Benny (Austin Butler). Tensions mount as the latest generation of Vandals begin to do evil and threaten to disrupt the peaceful status quo, forcing Johnny to reach out to them.

“Love Actually” is one of the best Christmas rom-coms of all time and tells an interconnected love story in London just before the holiday season. The cast includes Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, Laura Linney, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, and Emma Thompson. The scenes are heartwarmingly cheesy and feel-good, such as Mark (Andrew Lincoln) making a heartfelt confession to Juliet (Keira Knightley) on her doorstep, or newly elected Prime Minister David (Hugh Grant) joyfully dancing through the halls of 10 Downing Street! It's full of moments and iconic scenes.
