It's the season of love, Netflix fans: on December 19, “Virgin River” will finally be available for streaming!
“Virgin River,” an adaptation of Robin Carr's sprawling series of novels, basically takes us from our living rooms to a town that looks like it stepped out of a Hallmark movie. The show has been a huge hit so far for the streaming service and is bound to be a favorite for the upcoming holiday season.

“Virgin River” is a long-running Netflix series about a small town. The show revolves around Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse who moves from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles to a northern California town to make a fresh start and escape painful memories from her past.
Various dramas have followed, but Season 6 is set against the backdrop of Mel's spring wedding to Jack. With the latest installment, Netflix promises “fresh twists, escalating love triangles, fun wedding drama, and secrets from Mel's father's past revealed, transporting us to the magic and mystery of the Virgin River in the 1970s.”
In addition to Breckenridge, the cast of “Virgin River” includes Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Annette O'Toole, Tim Matheson, Zibby Allen, Sarah Dugdale, Candace McClure, Jessica Rothe, Callum Carr There are.

Yes! In October, we learned that “Virgin River” had already been renewed for a seventh season. An Instagram reel featuring most of the core cast announced that “more love, drama, and small town charm are coming.”
As Deadline reported at the time, this means that “Virgin River” is the longest-running current original scripted series on Netflix and the longest-running English-language drama series in Netflix history.The seven-season run is the second in a row for “Grace & Frankie” and ”Orange is the New Black.”
Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith said of the next chapter with Netflix's “Tudum”: “There's more to come for these characters. I think we're just beginning to see Mel and Jack function as a couple.”
He adds that Season 7 will “explore the honeymoon phase as they build their lives on the farm.”
