If recent rumors are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is only 34 days away from launch. But that doesn't stop the steady stream of leaks we've seen over the past few months, including today's supposedly leaked renderings.
Coming from the very reliable Evan Blass, we now have frontal renderings of both the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Plus models shared via his private X account.
Here's the Ultra:
And here's the Plus:
There are two pictures of each, but the UI on the lock screen and home screen (presumably using One UI 7) remains fairly familiar to anyone who has used a Samsung phone in the past few years .
However, we are interested in the frames themselves. They show more rounded edges than we're used to on recent Samsung phones and match the recent leaks, which hopefully should make them more comfortable to hold too and more stylish to the touch.
While there are no pictures of the back in this particular leak, Blass itself recently revealed a surprisingly extensive list of available colors for the three models expected in January.
As with the phone image above, Blass posted an image showing the familiar X Media removal notice (“This image has been removed following a report from the copyright holder”) and the caption “confirmation,” implying that Samsung removed the leak for its accuracy
If indeed, the image was removed.
If indeed Samsung is exercising legal force, it would be like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. At this point, it seems unlikely that Samsung will pull off a major surprise next month.
Aside from an upgrade to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite, Bixby handling AI, and a slightly larger display, the regular S25 will likely receive only incremental updates over the S24. However, prospective buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will likely see significant changes to the camera array, along with speed and AI enhancements, when it is next revealed in Galaxy Unpacked. The phone is tipped for a “variable feature” in the telephoto lens and a leap from a 10MP to a 50MP sensor in both the ultra-wide angle lens and the secondary telephoto lens.
