“Roll with it”

Hello Strands fans! Nothing is too much of a burden, especially if, like me, you spend a lot of time in record stores looking for bargains.

I was a bit lucky to get the bottom line PUNK without thinking too much about the theme. But once that was confirmed, it was clear that “Roll with it” was about a musical genre.

Then there was METAL in the upper right, followed by PROGRESSIVE on the other side; GLAM was twisted just below METAL, which proved enough to complete the spangram in reverse from right to left: rocking.

This left only one more word to find, albeit a long one. Its anagram is LEATTNRIEV, which of course can only be rewritten as ALTERNATIVE.
