Hello Strands fans! Today's theme, “You say you want a revolution,” is in reference to the Beatles' song about revolution, but the puzzle itself has nothing to do with violent rebellion or music.
Instead, it is a puzzle about what revolves. At first I did not realize this and was forced to take the DRYER clue. I quickly realized what the clue meant and found the TIRES in the lower left corner, diagonally below it.
Unfortunately, despite the mixture of both the words “spin” and “wheel,” my mind was blank on the spinning thing, so I had to use another clue. This time, I was shown EARTH on a scale I honestly hadn't given much thought to.
Going down in size again, there was a FOOTBALL to its left, leaving enough space to get a spangram: SPINNERS, written backwards from bottom to top.
Two answers remained. The top left “wheel” was found to be part of PINWHEEL, and the bottom right was filled with BALLERINA.
