While there have been countless leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, there have not been as many leaks about the mid-range Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus. Today, however, that situation has changed with the release of three leaked images purported to be of the S25 Plus.
We knew that the Ultra would have sanded down the corners to a more rounded look, which matches the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus that already have rounded corners. It was unclear whether the base and Plus models would retain their softer aesthetic.
According to images by leaker Jukanlosreve on X, the Plus will adopt the familiar design.
Samsung has been accused of copying Apple and the iPhone for the past few generations, but it is doubtful that this aesthetic will put a dent in those comparisons. The S25 Plus with rounded corners looks very similar to the iPhone 16 Plus.
It should be noted that the buttons on the side that look similar to the camera control buttons on the new iPhone are not buttons. As far as we know, Samsung will not add similar functionality to Galaxy phones. However, that appears to be the same location as the mmWave antenna on the S24 Plus. Perhaps the same here.
Previous Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus rumors suggested that they would have wider displays and possibly rounder corners than they currently have.
We saw a peculiar image of the S25 lineup from leaker Ice Universe in October. That one showed only the appearance of the front of the display.
This new leak reveals the sides and back of the phone, with the display on.
Unfortunately, the phone is covered in stickers, hiding some features, like the camera, which is expected to be slightly redesigned on the S25 Ultra. However, it appears that the Plus will not have the larger lens that the Ultra is supposed to have.
Otherwise, the only other major change expected for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus is the addition of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, which should provide a significant performance boost over the S24 Plus.
