The launch of Samsung's flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra is less than a month away.
Recently, display analyst Ross Young tweeted what appears to be all the colorways that will be announced for the Ultra phone. Of course, as Samsung's flagship device, it will be available in all the colors of the titanium shell expected to be found on high-end smartphones.
Typically, Samsung releases four colors everywhere with some online-only shades available only at Samsung's online store.
Based on the way Young's list is arranged, black, silver blue, gray, and white silver are likely to be the more common main colors; JetBlack, JadeGreen, and PinkGold are likely to be online-only colors; and the Samsung Shell will likely be available only at the Samsung online store.
By comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra's main colors are mainly Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow. Unfortunately for fans of the latter two colors, WhiteSilver and SilverBlue appear to be replacing them.
This year's Galaxy S25 Ultra online-only colors could be Titanium Green, Titanium Blue, and Titanium Orange. All three colors would replace JetBlack, JadeGreen, and PinkGold. It will be interesting to see how different JadeGreen actually looks compared to this year's green.
It is a bit disappointing that Samsung may forgo bold colors for a more subdued lineup. It is consistent with the more subdued tone Apple took with the iPhone 16 Pro models this year.
Asked how Jet Black would be differentiated from regular black, Young said he wasn't sure.
Young did not provide any information on the base models of the S25 and S25 Plus today. However, earlier leaks from him had suggested that the lineup for these two phones would be very blue.
These phones will be available in Moonlight Blue, Silver Shadow, Sparkling Blue, and Sparkling Green, and the Plus model should come in a Midnight Black variant. These phones will likely get online exclusive colors as well.
According to leaked information, the Galaxy S25 lineup is expected to launch next month on January 22.
