“The White Lotus” is one of my most anticipated shows of 2025. This murder mystery show has been one of the best shows on HBO and Max for the past two seasons, and I don't expect it to lose steam in season three.
And now we know we won't have to wait much longer to see the third season of Mike White's acclaimed show. Season 3 Episode 1 of The White Lotus will officially premiere on HBO on Sunday, February 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It will also be available on Max for those who subscribe to our pick of the best streaming services.
Even better, it has finally been revealed what the upcoming season will be like. Of course, this is just a teaser trailer, so it doesn't reveal much. Some things we already know, such as that the show will be set in Thailand. We also knew that Natasha Rothwell's character, Belinda Lindsay, a fan of “The White Lotus” Season 1, would be featured in this latest season, but we now know that it is because she is on an exchange program from the White Lotus Resort in Hawaii
Most importantly, however, Walton Goggins as Rick Hatchett will be making an appearance. His character's backstory is not exactly clear, but it is clear that his partner, Chelsea (Amy Lou Wood), believes he needs to manage his stress and eat a little healthier, something he strongly disagrees with.
Aside from Rotherwell, Goggins, and Wood, the rest of the cast of “White Lotus” Season 3 is made up of talented actors. A large, talented ensemble cast is a hallmark of the show, and this season is no different. The official cast for Season 3 is as follows:
From the teaser trailer, the cast seems to be divided into several groups. Kate (Bibb), Rory (Coon), and Jaclyn (Monahan) travel together, as well as the Ratliff family led by Piper (Hook) and Timothy (Isaacs). Rick and Chelsea, of course, are on a mission to relieve Rick's stress. It is clear that the mission is not going well, as Chelsea says in the teaser trailer that she almost died.
Finally, there is the hotel staff, led by Mook (Manoval) and Guy Took (Taptimeton), who seem to be teaching Belinda new tricks at the hotel spa. But there is one certainty that remains to be seen - someone is going to die. To find out who dies, and if it's the only one, be sure to tune in to HBO and Max on Sunday, February 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PDT.
