'Silo' Renewed for Season 3 on Apple TV Plus - and Season 4 Will Be the Last

Apple TV Plus Announces Major “Silo” News Apple TV Plus announced in a December 16 press release that its hit sci-fi drama “Silo,” starring Rebecca Ferguson, has been renewed for two more seasons.

Yes, even though season two of “Silo” is only half over (new episodes air every Friday through January 17, 2025), Apple's adaptation of Hugh Howey's dystopian trilogy will allow the team to bring us “the complete story” They plan to return for Seasons 3 and 4 so that we can get the “complete story.

Don't celebrate too much. Sure, we know we're getting “Silo” Season 4: ...... But thanks to the same announcement, we also know that this fourth season will lead the show into a “thrilling final chapter.” In other words, “Silo” Season 4 will be the last outing for the best Apple TV show. [Showrunner and executive producer Graham Yost said, “Adapting Hugh's epic novel with our partners at Apple has been a rewarding experience.

“We can't wait to give fans of the show an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the many mysteries and unanswered questions contained within the silo's walls in the final two chapters of ‘Silo.’”

Of his role in the series, Ferguson had this to say: “I love bringing Juliette to the screen and am very proud of what we have all created with ‘Silo’ since the first episode.”

Bittersweet news to be sure, but also refreshing in a way to know that the “Silo” team has a clear direction for how they want the continuation of Yost's story to play out on screen.

Given the positive reception “Silo” has received so far (a 92% average rating on “Rotten Tomatoes”), it comes as no surprise that the streamers are confident enough to announce that it will continue for two more seasons.

This is not the first time Apple TV Plus has thought long term about the show, renewing “Slow Horses” for a sixth season before its fifth season aired in October.
