Hello, Strand fans! Today was very easy and I finished it very quickly.

I'm a little surprised because the theme is “Make some noise!” - because the theme is vague. Fortunately, the two “SQ” examples on the board, SQUARK and SQUEAK, pointed me in the right direction.

With the first four letters of the spangram sandwiched between them, I was able to quickly deduce that the puzzle theme referred to PETSOUNDS.

After that it was smooth sailing. I found CHIRP and PURR in the bottom two corners and completed the bottom half with GROWL.

Three answers remained, all clustered in the upper right corner; finding BARK was easy, and a GRUNT door opened right next to it. All that remained was to connect the MEOW, and the puzzle was completed twice as fast.
