Hello Stands fans! Today's puzzle started out mangled and vague, and only when I was looking for the clue word did I happen to find the word SPOON, and the answer appeared on the board for the first time.

When it turned blue I was a bit confused. A small spoon? What does that mean?

I had to use a hint. I was still puzzled, but the two answers I had cleared a route that seemed to fit the spangram, so I followed it backwards and found the word LITTLE.

Then I realized that this was a word that - somewhat subtly in my view - could be located after LITTLE. That made things much easier. I quickly got DEVIL, LEAGUE, and ROCK to complete the top half of the grid.

The bottom half was a bit more fiddly, but the SPOON shape gave me a good starting area. I was then able to take the WOMEN diagonally from left to right, leaving the DIPPER in the corner to complete the puzzle.
